Murder Investigation Launched in Perry Barr
West Midlands Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a man's body at a property in Perry Barr, Birmingham. Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Emergency Services Called to Walsall Road
Police and paramedics were called to an address on Walsall Road, close to the Scott Arms, at approximately 6.30am on Wednesday, 3 December 2025. The emergency call was made after a man was found in cardiac arrest.
Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the man, who was in his 40s, could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is currently being treated as unexplained by detectives.
Three Suspects in Custody
As part of their urgent enquiries, officers have arrested three people on suspicion of murder. Those in custody are two men, aged 49 and 58, and a 41-year-old woman. All three remain in police custody for questioning.
Forensic officers and detectives remained at the House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) on Walsall Road until around 1pm, conducting a detailed examination of the property. The scene has drawn significant attention from local residents.
