Violent Altercation on Rural Road

Warwickshire Police have launched a public appeal for witnesses following a serious road rage attack that occurred on Gorcott Hill, heading towards Hockley Heath near Alcester. The incident took place shortly after midday on Thursday 20 November and left one driver with facial injuries.

Sequence of Events in Brake-Check Confrontation

According to police reports, the altercation began when a silver Volkswagen Caddy van reportedly cut up an Audi car. The situation escalated rapidly when the VW driver braked suddenly, prompting the Audi driver to overtake. In a retaliatory move, the van driver then overtook the Audi again before slamming on his brakes, blocking the road in both directions.

The Volkswagen driver subsequently exited his vehicle and approached the Audi. An argument broke out before the situation turned physically violent. Police state the VW driver forcibly ripped open the driver's side window of the Audi and punched the man inside.

Ongoing Investigation and Public Appeal

The Audi driver was left shaken and sustained facial injuries during the assault. No arrests have been made yet as police inquiries continue. Authorities believe several passers-by may have filmed the incident and are urgently requesting that anyone with footage comes forward.
