Family Fun at EACH Hospice Summer Open Garden Day in Milton
EACH Hospice Summer Open Garden Day in Milton

A delightful afternoon of family fun and relaxation is coming to Cambridgeshire as a leading children’s hospice opens its tranquil grounds to the public. East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) is hosting a summer open garden day at its Milton site on Saturday, June 20. The event will run from 11am to 3pm, with entry priced at £3, while children under two can enter for free.

Explore the Grounds and Enjoy Entertainment

Visitors will have the chance to explore the beautiful grounds and enjoy a variety of entertainment options. Activities include a children’s trail, giant games on the front lawn, fundraising stalls, and craft activities. Guests can also stroke a shire horse and indulge in refreshments from pizza and ice cream vans.

Learn About EACH’s Vital Work

The day will also offer the community an insight into life at Milton, providing an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the vital work carried out by EACH. Victoria Goldsmith, senior community fundraiser, said: “We can’t wait to welcome the public to our beautiful hospice. It’s a very tranquil place and this is an opportunity to showcase it, as well as raising awareness and perhaps changing perceptions. Although the public won’t have access to the care floor, they’ll be able to see and enjoy our grounds and we hope to create a chilled summer family vibe.”
