Mysterious Late-Night Milk Deliveries in Telford Prompt Police Appeal
Mysterious Milk Deliveries in Telford Prompt Police Appeal

West Mercia Police have launched an urgent appeal for information following a series of mysterious milk deliveries on a Midlands estate. The deliveries have been made to wrong addresses in the Muxton area of Telford, but the milk company involved has no customers on the estate, leaving officers perplexed.

Deliveries in the Early Hours

The milk has been dropped off between 1am and 4am, with the most recent incident occurring at 4am on Thursday, June 25, on Woodbine Drive. The vehicles used are white vans that do not appear to be sign-written or refrigerated, and one was described as a pick-up truck.

PCSO Hayley Smith, who covers the St George's, Priorslee and Muxton area, said the milk company would not have drivers in the area. Therefore, "it might not be the case of a delivery going to the wrong house or street," she added.

Police Appeal for CCTV Footage

The two reported incidents have prompted an appeal for information. PCSO Smith urged residents: "If you have any information, or if you have doorbell footage or CCTV images of a white pick-up in the area around that time, please forward them to our team email at sgp.snt@westmercia.police.uk."

West Mercia Police are asking anyone with relevant footage or information to come forward to help solve the mystery.
