The much-loved Community Christmas Tree Festival makes its triumphant return to Loughborough this weekend, transforming All Saints with Holy Trinity Church into a winter wonderland.
A Festive Spectacle for All
From Saturday, November 29, visitors can marvel at eighty beautifully decorated trees displayed within the historic setting of All Saints with Holy Trinity Church on Steeple Row. The festival will remain open to the public on Saturdays and Thursdays until December 20, operating from 10am to 4pm.
Admission is completely free, though organisers warmly welcome donations. All proceeds will contribute to essential repair work on the church roof, helping preserve this important community building.
Community Spirit and Seasonal Activities
Festival organiser Bridget Towle expressed her delight at the event's return, stating: "We are delighted to be able to offer the festival once again to the town. We have a great team working to make this year's festival joyful and memorable."
She added: "We are so pleased that many organisations have wanted to take part, not only by providing a tree, but also by holding events here during the weeks of the festival."
Beyond the stunning trees, visitors can enjoy numerous attractions including:
- Dedicated children's activities available on Saturdays
- Seasonal refreshments
- An extensive second-hand bookstall
- A wonderful gift stall
- A raffle with great prizes
- A pop-up nativity event welcoming participants of all ages
