The highly anticipated Liquorice Park Annual Summer Fete is returning this month, bringing local people together for a spectacular celebration of community and nature. The grand event is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, offering a memorable day out for families and visitors of all ages.
Live Entertainment and New Acts
The dedicated performance area will host live music and bands all day, featuring the return of the brilliant Steampunk Choir S.C.O.N.E. Excitement is building as the festival welcomes the Ravens Coven Dancing Witches to the stage for the very first time.
Activities in the Herb Garden
Over in the herb garden, visitors can enjoy a space filled with laughter, fun, and a variety of creative activities. Children and families can take part in face painting, hands-on crafts, and interactive bath bomb workshops throughout the afternoon.
Fundraising and Refreshments
Wonderful volunteers will also be running a traditional tombola with fantastic prizes alongside a bake sale filled with delicious treats and refreshments. Organisers have looked after visitor comfort by ensuring a portaloo will be available near the main performance area. While the fete is primarily a cash event, organisers are also able to accept payments via PayPal on the day.
Supporting Future Park Projects
All money raised from the event will go directly towards funding exciting future projects across the park. Visitors are encouraged to bring their picnic blankets, folding chairs, and steampunk parasols for a comfortable day on the grass.
Anyone looking to support the event can contact mel@liquoricepark.co.uk, as organisers are still looking for kind volunteers to help with setting up on the day. Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
