Top Family Activities in Birmingham This Week

As the parenting editor at BirminghamLive and founder of the Brummie Mummies network, I spend each week discovering the best things to do with kids. I also speak with inspiring parents about balancing family life. To save you time searching online, I have compiled the highlights of this week to help you plan your weekend and beyond.

Solihull Women's Stride Squad

Two Solihull mums, Keeley Skelding and Vicky Evans, started a simple walk in the park and were amazed when 100 women showed up. They launched the Solihull Women's Stride Squad to boost women's health, meeting twice a week for free, no membership required. This army of women is now inspiring others worldwide. Learn how to join here.

Half Term Fun: Bangers N' Mashup Rave

Our big half term guide includes a Bangers N' Mashup family rave. Brummie mummy Sarah Ventre hosts these charity events to raise money for families in need. The next rave is on May 31 at Rowheath Pavilion in Bournville, with more dates later. The charity also hosts mini raves in temporary accommodation, allowing families to dance and eat together. Sarah calls these 'little wins,' and I love that.
