Strictly's Jowita Pryzstal Ends Exit Fears After 'Last Dance' Post
Strictly's Jowita Pryzstal clarifies she is not leaving show

Strictly Come Dancing professional Jowita Pryzstal has moved swiftly to quash speculation that she is leaving the hit BBC series, after a social media post sent fans into a panic.

Social Media Post Sparks Concern

The 31-year-old Polish dancer, who won the glitterball trophy in 2022 with wildlife presenter Hamza Yassin and was partnered this year with Lorraine star Ross King, shared a selfie with King on Instagram after the series final. The caption, "Last dance partner on Strictly floor x @therossking", was quickly interpreted by some followers as a hint at her departure from the show.

One concerned fan questioned online: "Has Jowita hinted that she's leaving Strictly Come Dancing? What does she mean." Another urged her directly: "Jowita please include some punctuation in your stories, you're sending us into a panic girl."

Jowita's Swift Clarification

Pryzstal did not leave fans worrying for long. In a follow-up Instagram Story, she set the record straight. She confirmed she has no plans to leave Strictly, posting: "So grateful for being part of the best show on tv."

She elaborated to clarify the misunderstanding, writing: "And just to clarify my last post, it was about my last dance with Ross, not me leaving the show. Hopefully far from my last dance on that dance floor." This reassurance will come as a relief to her many supporters, who have watched her become a firm favourite since joining the professional lineup.

Johannes Radebe's Emotional Speech Fuels Similar Speculation

The concern over Jowita's future came amid similar worries about another popular professional, Johannes Radebe. After being eliminated from the competition with actress Alex Kingston several weeks prior, Radebe delivered an emotional speech that viewers feared sounded like a goodbye.

Addressing Kingston and the Strictly team, he said: "To my Strictly family, I love you... I'm forever grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you." This prompted a flurry of anxious reactions on social media, with one viewer asking: "Why did that sound like a final goodbye from Johannes? ! ?"

The 2025 series final, which saw Karen Carney and Carlos Gu lift the glitterball trophy ahead of Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin and George Clarke and Alexis Warr, also marked the end of an era. It was the final episode hosted by the iconic duo of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.

For now, fans of Jowita Pryzstal can rest easy, with the dancer making it clear she hopes to be back on the famous ballroom floor for many series to come.
