Wicked: For Good Post-Credits Scene Explained - What to Expect
Wicked: For Good - No Post-Credits Scene Confirmed

Cinema-goers heading to see the highly anticipated Wicked: For Good this November can safely leave their seats once the credits begin rolling, as the film contains no post-credits scenes.

The second instalment in the magical franchise, released on 21 November 2025, follows the same pattern as its predecessor by concluding without additional footage during or after the credits.

What Happens During Wicked: For Good's Credits?

Unlike many contemporary blockbusters that have trained audiences to wait through lengthy credit sequences for bonus content, Wicked: For Good offers no such surprises. Director Jon M. Chu has maintained continuity with the 2024 original film, which also lacked any end credits scenes.

The movie concludes with Elphaba's story arc before transitioning to credits, without introducing new musical numbers or narrative teases. This approach differs significantly from franchises like Marvel, where post-credit scenes have become expected tradition.

Potential for Future Wicked Content

While cinema audiences won't find extra content after Wicked: For Good, there remains possibility for additional material in future home releases. The original Wicked movie later released deleted scenes in its digital version, suggesting similar treatment might occur for this sequel.

Regarding the potential for Wicked 3, director Jon M. Chu revealed to Variety that while no official plans exist, creative discussions are underway. "I'd say, 'What is it about?' We have a lot of ideas flying around right now," Chu stated, leaving the door open for future Oz adventures.

The film continues the story of Elphaba and Glinda, with the latter embracing her role as Glinda the Good. Fans of the musical will recognise the narrative trajectory, though the cinematic adaptation has introduced several changes from the stage production.
