Indiyah chose to confront the situation directly via her Instagram Stories. She wrote a concise statement, acknowledging the footage and taking responsibility. "I am aware of the video that has been shared online," she stated. "I made a mistake and take full responsibility for my actions. I understand the hurt this has caused. I won't be commenting further."
Marlon also addressed the incident during a live stream, emphasising his single status at the time. "Someone recorded me kissing a girl … 24 year old man. Single at the time. Not talking to nobody," he said, defending the authenticity of their interaction while asserting it was a private matter.
Where the Allegations Began
The claims first surfaced publicly when a TikTok user known as Bouncer alleged he had witnessed Indiyah and Marlon "openly kissing, touching and giggling" at the upmarket East London restaurant, Duck and Waffle. Another TikTok account, @boujee_lil_baddie, later shared the video that sparked the current controversy.
As it stands, Indiyah has stated she will make no further comment on the issue. It remains to be seen if Dami Hope will choose to publicly address the circumstances surrounding their split.
