Traitors Star Paul Gorton Reveals Cast Family Tree Theory
Traitors Star's Theory on Hidden Cast Connections

A former star of the hit BBC show The Traitors has unveiled his exclusive theory about the secret relationships he believes are woven through the current series' cast.

Former Traitor's Intriguing Insight

Paul Gorton, the cunning 38-year-old traitor from the show's second series in 2023, has been analysing the latest episodes. Working with Which Bingo, he suggests viewers have likely missed several crucial connections between contestants.

While it was revealed early that the first banished player, Judy, was the mother of fellow contestant Roxie, Paul is convinced this is just the tip of the iceberg. He boldly stated his belief that "absolutely everybody in there [the castle] is related," and that all participants somehow know each other.

Clues and Speculation

Gorton pointed to current contestants Ross and Netty as a prime example, noting their "mad, weird" moment upon meeting for the first time in over a decade within the show. He argues this hints at a deeper, pre-existing link.

The ex-traitor's focus has also been drawn to the mysterious family tree and Latin-inscribed photo frame featured prominently in the last three episodes. He is certain these are not mere set decorations but vital clues.

"My brain is saying, why would you have a family tree and why would you have this wording above and below it?" Gorton questioned. "And that wording will mean something."

Predicting More Reveals

Although the Latin text remains officially undeciphered, Paul has a prediction. He bets it asks a question along the lines of: "there's three couples here or three relations here, who are they?"

He elaborated that from that point, the connections could be anything from cousins to former work colleagues. "I think there is at least one more reveal," Gorton asserted, adding enthusiastically, "I'm hoping everyone's related because that would just be so complex and so amazing."

The intrigue continues as The Traitors airs tonight at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
