RumRum Birmingham Reopens with Strict Dress Code

RumRum Birmingham is set to make a stylish comeback after a four-month closure, reopening on Exeter Street with a fresh identity and strict entry rules. The nightclub, which shut down at The Arcadian in January after six years, will relaunch with a black and gold dress code and an exclusive pre-launch event.

New Location and Identity

The venue closed in January, with owners stating 'it was time to say goodbye.' Now, it returns on Exeter Street, promising a completely reimagined experience. The club describes itself as 'reborn bigger, bolder, and better than ever' with 'new venue, new energy' and everything redesigned from the ground up.

Strict Dress Code and Entry Rules

From May 2, when RumRum opens to the general public, all attendees must adhere to a strict dress code: black and gold colours only. Sportswear is banned, and only 'smart or glamorous' clothing is permitted. The pre-launch event on Saturday, April 25, is free but restricted to members of the InviteOnly Society community group. Non-members will be turned away at the door.

This reopening marks a significant change for the venue, which had been a staple of Birmingham's nightlife for six years before its sudden closure. The new rules aim to create an exclusive and upscale atmosphere.
