MAFS Australia's Alissa Reveals New Romance with Reality TV Star

Married At First Sight Australia's Alissa Fay has broken her silence about finding her "soulmate" following her explosive split from David Momoh during the Final Vows ceremony. The reality television star confirmed she is now in a relationship with Australian Ninja Warriors contestant Nathan Ryles, marking a fresh chapter after her tumultuous marriage experiment.

Dramatic Split from MAFS Husband

Throughout the MAFS Australia 2026 season, Alissa and David appeared to be a strong couple, but their relationship deteriorated toward the end as conflicts and communication breakdowns took their toll. The situation reached its climax at Final Vows when David read his vows and then walked away, leaving Alissa to deliver her vows to an empty room—a moment that created significant discomfort for viewers.

Now that their marriage conclusion has aired on television, Alissa is free to openly discuss her new romantic connection. She becomes the fourth bride from the season to publicly announce finding love after the experiment.

Connection with Nathan Ryles

In an interview with New Idea magazine, Alissa confirmed her relationship with Nathan Ryles, describing their bond as something she has never experienced before. "Our connection is something I've never experienced before," she revealed. "He was unexpected; we didn't plan for this to happen, you know, it just happened so naturally."

Alissa expressed profound feelings about the relationship, stating: "I thought that I knew what love was, and I thought that I had felt love before, but this is a whole other feeling. I believe he's my soulmate, like he is my person, and I have found my person; he makes me so happy."

Rapid Relationship Development

Despite taking their relationship "day by day," the couple exchanged "I love you" declarations just four months after they began dating and have already moved in together. While this might seem sudden to fans, Alissa has actually known Nathan for many years through shared social circles.

Their romantic connection began in December last year when a friend facilitated their meeting. "It wasn't until December last year that Alissa's friend 'wingmanned' them, leading them to connect," the article notes.

Challenges of Secrecy

With MAFS now concluded, the couple is relieved they no longer need to hide their relationship. Alissa described the period of secrecy as "very challenging," explaining: "It's just wild, not being able to go out in public. It's just been challenging. It's had challenges, but I think it's brought us closer together."

Interestingly, Nathan's limited exposure to MAFS Australia didn't negatively impact their relationship. He shared: "I don't really watch the show. While I do see clips here and there, I'm happy just being oblivious."

This revelation follows similar announcements from three other MAFS Australia 2026 brides who have also found love after the experiment, suggesting the show's participants continue to seek meaningful connections beyond their televised marriages.
