Mini Motörhead Museum and Lemmy Lemonade Bar Opens in Burslem

A mini Motörhead museum serving beer and 'Lemmy lemonade' has opened its doors in the Midlands. Fans can visit Old No. 6 in Market Square, Burslem, from midday on Friday, May 1. The Stoke-on-Trent town is the birthplace of the band's frontman, Ian Fraser Kilmister, widely known as Lemmy.

IFK Legacy CIC has created the venue to welcome visitors from around the world who come to see the Lemmy statue, which has been displayed in Burslem for almost a year. The venue features a bar serving official Motörhead beers and 'Lemmy lemonade', along with a mini museum showcasing band memorabilia and artwork, as reported by StokeonTrentLive.

Official Opening and Plans

In a joint social media post, Stoke-on-Trent City Council and IFK Legacy CIC announced: 'Burslem is getting ready to rock as the Old No. 6 Lemmy visitor centre opens this week.' The new venue includes a bar serving official Motörhead beers and 'Lemmy lemonade', alongside a mini museum featuring Motörhead memorabilia and artwork. Fans can visit from Friday 1 May at 12 noon, just in time for the bank holiday weekend.

Old No. 6 has been created by IFK Legacy CIC to welcome visitors from around the world who come to see the Lemmy statue, explore Burslem, and discover more of Stoke-on-Trent. It will also help raise funds for the Lemmy Project, including plans to transform the Grade II listed Queen's Theatre into 'Kilmister Halls' – a 1,500-capacity music venue and cultural hub honouring the Motörhead frontman.
