Birmingham's best secondary schools have been identified in a new national league table published by The Telegraph. The ranking evaluated approximately 3,500 schools across the country based on key performance indicators, including exam results, attendance rates, and class sizes, assigning each institution a score out of 40.
Schools were then categorized as very good, good, fair, below average, or well below average based on their scores. Those achieving scores between 29 and 39 were deemed 'very good', a group that includes some of the region's most prestigious grammar and private schools, as well as several comprehensive schools that outperformed expectations.
