Gill Middlemas, the former headteacher of Whitworth Community High School, was invited to the King’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. Mrs. Middlemas retired from the school in 2024 after serving as headteacher for 11 years, culminating a career of nearly two decades in school leadership across Lancashire.
