More than a dozen firefighters were called into action overnight to battle a significant blaze at a flat in Birmingham.

The incident began at approximately 11:30 PM on Sunday, November 10, at a property located on Old Walsall Road in the Hamstead area. West Midlands Fire Service responded immediately, dispatching four fire engines to the scene. Authorities quickly urged members of the public to steer clear of the area to allow emergency operations to proceed unhindered.
Containment and Conclusion of the Incident
Fire crews successfully confined the fire to the single flat where it originated, preventing it from spreading to neighbouring properties. A significant relief was the confirmation from the fire service that there were no reports of any casualties or injuries.
