Emergency Services Rush to Erdington Collision
Two men have been injured, one with potentially serious injuries, following a dramatic road traffic collision in Birmingham on Tuesday night. The incident occurred when a car, believed to be a BMW, left the roadway and smashed into a tree.

The crash happened on Bromford Lane in Erdington at its junction with Bromford Crescent, close to the former Lad in the Lane pub. It was reported to emergency services shortly before 8:30 PM on Tuesday, November 18.
A significant emergency response was immediately dispatched to the location. This included crews from West Midlands Fire Service, West Midlands Police, and a substantial deployment from the West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Emergency Response and Hospital Treatment
The ambulance service sent four crews to deal with the aftermath: two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and the critical care car from the Midland Air Ambulance Service.
One man was treated for potentially serious injuries at the scene. He was then transported under blue lights to the city's major trauma centre, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Selly Oak.
A second man involved in the collision sustained injuries that were not believed to be serious. He was conveyed to Heartlands Hospital for further treatment and assessment.
West Midlands Fire Service confirmed that two crews, one from Erdington and another from Ward End, attended the scene after receiving the call at 8:43 PM. They remained on site for approximately one hour to help make the area safe.
West Midlands Police have confirmed they are investigating the circumstances of the crash. A force spokesman appealed for information, stating: “Anyone with information or footage should contact us on 101 quoting log 5182 of 18 November.”
