Kelly Brook's Husband Defends Her Against Body-Shaming Trolls
Husband hits back at trolls over Kelly Brook's figure

Jeremy Parisi, the husband of television personality Kelly Brook, has publicly condemned online trolls who have targeted his wife with cruel remarks about her figure ahead of her appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

A Husband's Defence

Speaking out against the body-shaming, Parisi revealed the intense scrutiny faced by women in the public eye. He expressed his pride in Kelly's resilience, stating he is "so happy to see Kelly being so confident and happy in her own skin."

He further commented, "It's hard for women in the public eye to be put under such scrutiny but she is a positive role model for so many women which is something she should be proud of." His defence comes after the model and actress faced a barrage of nasty comments upon her arrival at Brisbane Airport for the ITV show.

Kelly's Message of Self-Acceptance

Prior to entering the Australian jungle, Kelly Brook directly addressed the criticism about her changing body. The 46-year-old star appealed for acceptance, acknowledging that she is not the same as she was in her twenties.

"Obviously, I am not a 20-year-old bikini model anymore," she explained. "You know, life changes and your body changes. And I just hope people are accepting of me and how I look now, and not comparing me to how I used to look."

She emphasised her current confidence, stating she had "embraced" her curves and was proud of her body, especially after running a marathon this year. Her stance is not new; for years, she has responded to critics, once famously declaring she was a "healthy size 12" and would not apologise for having "boobs and a bum."

Jungle Life and Reunion Plans

Viewers have already seen Kelly become the first campmate of the series to take a jungle shower, wearing a patterned bikini. Her husband, Jeremy, described her as "gorgeous" but expressed disappointment at missing her birthday on Sunday, which will be the first time in a decade they have not celebrated together.

However, the separation will be short-lived. Parisi is flying out to Australia on Monday to reunite with his wife on the iconic jungle bridge, where they plan belated birthday celebrations. The couple, who married in 2022, were recently seen sharing an emotional moment when Kelly was reduced to tears after receiving a photograph of Jeremy and their pet, Teddy, in the Bush Telegraph.
