53-Year-Old World Champion Arm Wrestler Reveals Her Secret Power Breakfast
World's best female arm wrestler, 53, reveals secret diet

At 53 years old, a British arm wrestling champion hailed as the world's best in her category has revealed the surprising dietary secret behind her immense strength and continued success.

From Office Breaks to World Titles

Agy Górzyńska, a leisure centre manager from Manchester, first discovered her talent for the sport 13 years ago. Her journey began when she started beating her male colleagues in impromptu arm wrestling matches during work breaks. This sparked a passion that has led her to become a three-time world champion and an eight-time British national champion.

Her latest triumph came at the British National Championships in Birmingham on Saturday, November 29. There, she secured an impressive double victory, winning two gold medals—one for each arm.

The Champion's Fuel: A Unique Breakfast Regime

Górzyńska attributes her sustained power and competitive edge to a specific and nutrient-rich breakfast she consumes three times a week. Her plate consists of fried chicken livers, brown toast, eggs, spinach, raw eggs, and milk.

"This is the best breakfast ever!" she exclaimed. "My wife and my friends think I'm crazy but it's a great breakfast and has kept me strong as I've got older."

She emphasises the meal's role in her training, stating, "It's so nutritious and sets me up perfectly for my training sessions. If you want to keep strong this is what you need to be eating."

Inspiring the Next Generation

Beyond her personal achievements, Górzyńska is passionate about her role as a trailblazer in a sport where female competitors are gaining more recognition. She expressed pride in her recent win and her position as a role model.

"I'm really, really proud of my latest win," she said. "I like to be a good strong example for all the girls and women in British arm wrestling."

Her story challenges stereotypes about age and strength, proving that peak physical performance can be achieved and maintained well into one's fifties with dedication, training, and the right nutrition.
