West Midlands Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following a dog attack in Birmingham city centre. The incident occurred on the canal off James Brindley Walk, where one dog attacked another.
The attack took place at around 7pm on 26 March. No arrests have been made so far, and police inquiries are ongoing.
In a statement, police said: "We want to speak to this man after another man was assaulted in Birmingham. It happened after the victim's dog was attacked by another dog on the canal off James Brindley Walk."
Officers acknowledge that the image is not the clearest but believe there are people who will have information to assist their enquiries. They urge anyone with information to come forward.
You can contact West Midlands Police via Live Chat on their website, or by calling 101, quoting reference number 20/192775/26.
This appeal comes after recent incidents in the city, including a blade alert at a Birmingham primary school and a case involving a rapist who died in prison.
