A bridge crash on Great Bridge Road in Bilston has forced the suspension of tram services between Bradley Lane and Wednesbury Parkway, West Midlands Metro has confirmed.

Service Disruption Details

The smash occurred on Great Bridge Road, leaving trams unable to operate on that section of the line. According to West Midlands Metro, services were running normally between Wednesbury Parkway and Edgbaston Village, but only one line was operating in both directions between Bradley Lane and Priestfield.

Alternative Travel Arrangements

Ticket acceptance was put in place with West Midlands Railway services between Wolverhampton Station and Birmingham New Street, allowing passengers to complete their journeys via rail.
