A man has been hospitalised following a collision with a car in a Birmingham suburb this afternoon.
Emergency Response on Warwick Road
The incident occurred on Warwick Road in South Yardley at approximately 1.15pm on Saturday, November 15. Emergency services, including paramedics and police, were quickly dispatched to the location.
The male pedestrian received treatment from ambulance crews at the scene before being transported to hospital for further medical attention. Authorities have confirmed that his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
West Midlands Police have cordoned off a section of the road during their initial investigation. A photograph from the scene depicted a police car blocking the roadway with its blue lights activated, while an ambulance was visible further down the street.
The force has now issued a public appeal for information regarding the collision. A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated: "We were called to reports of a man being hit by a car in Warwick Road, South Yardley, at around 1.15pm today. The man was treated at the scene for injuries, which were thankfully not life threatening or life changing."
