Kenmore Sea Foods, which specialised in processing whitefish including haddock and cod, had been trading for over three decades before its sudden closure. The company's financial troubles became insurmountable, leading to the appointment of joint administrators from FRP Advisory.

David Macewan of FRP Advisory stated: "We are actively marketing the business and assets for sale and have already received several expressions of interest. We're working closely with employees and key stakeholders during this challenging period."
