Nationwide Offers Dual 0% Credit Card Deals to Help Members Save Money
Nationwide's 0% Credit Card Offers Help Members Save Money

Nationwide Building Society Launches Money-Saving Credit Card Initiative

Nationwide Building Society has proactively contacted its customers with a straightforward inquiry: "Would you like to save money?" This outreach is part of a promotional campaign for the Member Credit Card, designed to assist members in avoiding interest payments on existing debts or managing upcoming financial obligations.

Dual 0% Introductory Offers Available

Members are presented with a choice between two distinct 0% introductory offers. The first option is a balance transfer deal, which provides a generous 30-month period of 0% interest on balances moved from other credit cards. Alternatively, the purchase and balance transfer offer combines benefits, offering 15 months of 0% interest on both new purchases and transferred balances.

Key Terms and Conditions to Consider

To qualify for these promotional rates, balances must be transferred within the initial 90 days after opening the account. Transfers completed within this timeframe incur a fee of 2.99% or a minimum of £5, whichever amount is higher. For instance, transferring £1,000 would result in a fee of £29.90.

After the 90-day window, the transfer fee decreases to 2.4% or £5, again whichever is greater, meaning a £1,000 transfer would cost £24. Additionally, all transferred amounts are subject to a 24.9% APR (variable) interest rate.

Post-Promotional Rate Details

Once the 0% interest period concludes, the interest rate on the Member Credit Card increases to a representative 24.9% APR (variable). This highlights the importance for members to plan their finances carefully to maximize savings during the introductory phase and avoid higher costs later.

This initiative by Nationwide aims to provide flexible financial solutions, helping members reduce interest expenses and better manage their money in an increasingly challenging economic environment.
