Remembering Dominic Welsh

Dom was a highly valued member of the community, known for his warmth and wonderful sense of humor. Those who knew him best describe him as a man who always put others first and had a smile that could light up any room. His friends and family shared a heartfelt tribute:

Dominic Welsh (August 18, 1975 - March 13, 2025) was a devoted father, husband, son, brother and friend. He was the heart of his family and a constant source of strength, love and support to those around him. Dom had a smile that could truly light up a room, and a warmth that made everyone feel welcome. His kindness knew no limits - he would do anything for anyone, always putting others before himself without hesitation. He had a real zest for life, bringing energy, humour and positivity wherever he went. Whether it was through small acts of kindness or simply being there when someone needed him, Dom made a lasting difference in people's lives. His passing has been deeply felt across the community, a reflection of just how many people he touched. He will always be remembered not only for the incredible man he was, but for the love, laughter and light he brought into the world.

Fundraising Goal

Every donation made on the day will go directly toward helping the hospice continue its compassionate services. It takes £108 to fund a single night of specialist nursing care, allowing families to stay together at home.

The organisers hope to see many local people come along to show their support and share in the community spirit. All are welcome to attend the match at Long Eaton United Football Club.
