Armed Police in Edgbaston: No Crime Found

Armed police officers were deployed to a tower block in Edgbaston following reports of a disturbance, but no evidence of criminal activity was found, according to West Midlands Police.

Emergency Response at Wickets Tower

Paramedics also attended Wickets Tower on Wyatt Close on Friday, May 1, after a report of a disorder. BirminghamLive footage showed a significant emergency presence at the building's entrance.

However, upon arrival, officers were unable to find any signs of criminal activity, and no one reported being injured, a police spokesperson confirmed.

Investigation Ongoing

Police searched the area and are now conducting inquiries to determine if any offense took place. They have appealed for witnesses to contact them on 101, quoting log 3761 of May 1.

In a statement, West Midlands Police said: "We were called to an address in Wyatt Close this afternoon following a report of a disorder. Officers attended and searched the area, but no sign of any criminal offences was found and no one reported any injuries to us. We are remaining in the area carrying out enquiries to establish whether any offences took place."
