A man from Birmingham has been charged with more than a dozen shoplifting offences and an assault, leading to a court appearance at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court.

Joshua Findlater, aged 39 and residing on Nutfield Walk in Harborne, was arrested by West Midlands Police following reports of an attempted theft in Great Barr on the evening of January 26. The police responded promptly to the incident, which involved someone trying to steal from a store in the area.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Findlater was suspected of being involved in a series of shop thefts spanning from November to January. As a result, he has been charged with 14 counts of shoplifting and one count of assault, highlighting the severity of the alleged crimes.
