New police data has laid bare the Birmingham streets and neighbourhoods most blighted by antisocial behaviour over the past year. An analysis of local crime figures reveals where residents have endured the worst disruption from nuisance youths and intimidating conduct.
The City's Antisocial Behaviour Hotspots
Small Heath and Highgate emerged as Birmingham's primary antisocial behaviour hotspot, with a staggering 418 offences recorded in the 12 months leading to October 2025. This equates to more than one incident reported every single day on average.
The area was closely followed by Aston, which saw 405 incidents. Other districts suffering significantly high levels of reported antisocial behaviour included Longbridge (353), Lozells and East Handsworth (343), Ladywood (318), and Acocks Green (317).
Understanding the Scale of the Problem
West Midlands Police logged thousands of antisocial behaviour reports across Birmingham in 2025, but the burden was not evenly spread. The data, examined by BirminghamLive, only reflects incidents that were formally reported to authorities.
It is feared that many more residents suffer in silence, enduring disturbances such as youths shouting late into the night and congregating on street corners outside homes and shops. While some acts may seem minor individually, the cumulative effect can be a scourge on communities, making daily life a misery for those affected.
