Police are appealing for dashcam footage following a fatal collision in Wombourne, where a man was struck by a lorry and died at the scene.
Collision details
The incident occurred on Wombourne Park, near the junction with Bridgnorth Road, shortly after 8am on Monday, June 29. Despite the efforts of emergency services, the pedestrian, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police appeal
Staffordshire Police have confirmed that the man's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. The lorry driver remained at the scene and is assisting with enquiries.
A force spokesperson said: "Anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage, who has not already spoken to police, can contact us by calling 101. We are particularly interested in anyone with dashcam who may have been passing through the area around the time of the collision."

Emergency response
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson added: "We were called to a road traffic collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian at the junction of Wombourne Park and Bridgnorth Road at 7.59am. We sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance to the scene. On arrival, crews found a man in a critical condition and immediately began administering advanced life support. Sadly, despite best efforts, nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
