Four teenagers, aged between 13 and 16, have been arrested after a 34-year-old man was stabbed outside a McDonald's restaurant in Leeds city centre. The incident occurred on Briggate, a busy pedestrianised street, at approximately 9:08 pm on Tuesday, 28 April.
Police Response and Victim Condition
Officers from West Yorkshire Police were called to the scene following reports of a dispute. Upon arrival, they found the male victim suffering from stab wounds to the stomach. He was immediately taken to hospital for treatment. Police have confirmed that his injuries are not life-threatening, and he is currently in a stable condition.
Arrests and Investigation
A large police cordon was established around the fast-food restaurant, which is typically bustling with customers, as detectives conducted their investigations and reviewed CCTV footage from the area. Four teenage boys, all aged between 13 and 16, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault. They have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
