Man Charged After Same Bakery Raided Three Times in West Bromwich
A man has been formally charged following a series of thefts at a bakery located on Birmingham Road in West Bromwich. The incidents occurred over a short period, with the same store being targeted multiple times.
Details of the Repeated Thefts
According to reports, items were initially stolen from the bakery on Monday, February 23. The store was then targeted again on Wednesday, February 25, with the theft occurring just seven minutes after the business opened for the day. In a bold third attempt later that same day, the suspect returned to the bakery but was spotted by a police officer.
The individual attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by officers after a brief pursuit. The suspect has been identified as Nick Fullard, aged 38.
Charges and Legal Proceedings
Fullard faces three separate counts of shop theft related to the bakery incidents. Additionally, he has been charged with public order offences and assaulting an emergency worker. Following his arrest, he has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court.
