Man Appears in Court Following Alleged Street Assault

A 42-year-old man from Dudley has appeared in court after two women were reportedly pushed into a road during an alleged assault. Richard Taylor faced charges at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court on Thursday, November 27.

He has been formally charged with assault with intent to commit robbery and assault by beating. The incident occurred on Wolverhampton Street in Dudley on Tuesday, November 25.

According to West Midlands Police, the alleged assault took place shortly before 9:30 am. Reports indicate that two women were pushed into the roadway during the ordeal.

One of the victims sustained grazes to her face as a result of the incident. Police responded swiftly to reports received on Tuesday morning.
