A man has been taken to hospital following a violent mass brawl that reportedly involved around fifty people outside a Leicestershire pub.
Chaotic Scene on High Street
The large-scale disturbance erupted outside The Bird in Hand pub on Measham's High Street at approximately 10.35pm on Monday, December 23. Emergency services were swiftly called to the scene following reports of a significant fight in progress.
Officers from Leicestershire Police attended alongside colleagues from the East Midlands Ambulance Service. One man sustained injuries during the incident and required hospital treatment. Authorities have stated his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police Investigation Underway
In the aftermath of the brawl, a police cordon was established outside the pub as investigations began. No arrests have been made at this initial stage, but police confirm that enquiries are actively ongoing.
