Paedophile Jailed for 20 Child Sex Offences in West Midlands

Dangerous Paedophile Receives Eight-Year Sentence for Systematic Grooming of Underage Girls

A calculated and manipulative paedophile who targeted vulnerable teenage girls, including one in the West Midlands, has been jailed for eight years after admitting to twenty separate child sex offences. Luke Williamson, aged 34, employed a sophisticated grooming campaign across multiple social media platforms to exploit his victims.

Systematic Grooming and Manipulation Tactics

Williamson, residing on Bunyan Road in Kempston, Bedfordshire, pursued two girls under the age of 16 through extensive messaging, video calls, and voice communications. His method followed a disturbingly consistent pattern:

  • Initiating contact and confirming the girls' underage status
  • Overwhelming them with attention and false declarations of love
  • Progressing to requests for photographs of legs and feet
  • Offering money, alcohol, and vapes as incentives for compliance
  • Arranging physical meetings to continue sexual offending

Detective Inspector Cat Slaughter from Humberside Police's Rape and Serious Sexual Offences Unit described Williamson as a "very calculated and manipulative man" who specifically preyed on vulnerable young girls using identical grooming techniques each time.

Extensive Investigation Uncovers Disturbing Evidence

The investigation began when Williamson's phone was seized in May of last year during an unrelated matter. Humberside Police's Digital Forensics Unit uncovered:

  1. Thousands of messages with underage girls
  2. Indecent images and videos of children being exchanged
  3. Location tracking data showing Williamson travelled significant distances
  4. Evidence of him waiting for hours in his car to execute meetings

In one particularly disturbing instance, Williamson meticulously planned and entered one victim's home while her family slept inside to engage in sexual activity with her.

Court Proceedings and Sentencing

Despite initially denying involvement when arrested in July 2025, Williamson pleaded guilty in October 2025 to twenty child sex offences, including:

  • Twelve counts of arranging or facilitating child sexual offences
  • Three counts of sexual communications with a child
  • Three counts of making indecent photographs of a child
  • One count each of causing a child to watch a sexual act and taking indecent photographs

The court heard that Williamson continued his offending even while on remand, writing letters to one victim with false promises and declarations of love. The sentencing judge described him as a "high-risk offender and a serious risk to teenage girls."

Post-Sentence Measures and Police Response

In addition to his eight-year prison sentence, Williamson will:

  • Serve an additional three years on licence
  • Be placed on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely
  • Be subject to a lifelong Sexual Harm Prevention Order

Detective Inspector Slaughter emphasised the challenges of investigating such cases, acknowledging that victims of sexual manipulation and grooming often find it difficult to engage fully with investigations. She stated: "We believed that Williamson was a danger to young girls, and we continued to gather as much evidence as we could to build a strong case against him."

Support for Victims and Reporting Information

Jessica Randell, Senior Crown Prosecutor for CPS Yorkshire and Humberside, highlighted the comprehensive nature of the prosecution case: "We dissected thousands of text messages between Williamson and his victims. This allowed us to build a comprehensive picture of the extent of his offending."

Police are urging anyone affected by Williamson's offending or concerned by this case to come forward. Reports can be made through Humberside Police's non-emergency number 101, emergency services at 999, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. The dedicated Major Incident Public Portal reference is log 72 of 17 November 2025.

Detective Inspector Slaughter concluded: "I hope the result at court today demonstrates our commitment to prosecuting offenders like Williamson. It is never your fault, you will be believed, and we will do all we can to hold those responsible to account."
