Police appeal after man suffers facial injuries in Oldbury

West Midlands Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following an assault in Oldbury that left the victim with facial injuries.

Incident details

The assault is alleged to have occurred on Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury, in the early hours of February 1 at approximately 3.15am. The victim sustained facial injuries during the incident.

Several months on, police have now shared the image as part of a public appeal to identify the suspect.

In a statement issued on Saturday, June 27, a West Midlands Police spokesperson said: 'We want to speak to this man over an assault in Sandwell. The victim sustained facial injuries in Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury, at around 3.15am on 1 February.'

The force asked members of the public: 'Do you recognise this man?'
