Detectives are attempting to locate and identify twelve men captured on CCTV footage who may hold crucial information about the attack.

The violent incident occurred on Bradford Street at approximately 1:30am on January 1st, 2026. According to police reports, the victim was attacked by a group of individuals who stabbed him in the leg before fleeing the scene. A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated: "We are appealing for information after a man was attacked in Birmingham. At 1.30am on New Year's Day, the man was attacked by a group of people in Bradford Street. The group stabbed the man in one of his legs, requiring hospital treatment, before leaving the area."
