Michael Colbourne, 52, subjected his victim to a campaign of disturbing abuse, believing his actions would remain hidden from authorities. However, his brazen confidence became his undoing when the resourceful victim used her mobile phone to document his crimes.
The recorded evidence proved damning, capturing Colbourne's depraved behaviour in explicit detail. When the victim presented this digital proof to West Midlands Police, officers moved swiftly to apprehend the offender.
