A robber 'punched and kicked' his victim for a watch and other valuables in Birmingham. The victim was attacked on Shirley Road in Acocks Green. Police said his phone, car keys and cash were also taken.

Police appeal for information

West Midlands Police issued an appeal by releasing a picture of a man officers want to trace. No arrests have been made and inquiries continue.

In a statement, police said: 'Recognise this man? We'd like to speak to him about a robbery on Shirley Road, Acocks Green. A man was punched and kicked in the early hours of Monday 25 May, before having his phone, car keys, cash, and a watch taken from him.'

The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday 25 May. The victim sustained injuries from the punches and kicks. Police continue to investigate and urge anyone with information to come forward.
