Six Teens Arrested Over Armed Fight in Great Barr

Six teenagers have been arrested following an armed fight that broke out on a residential street in Great Barr. Police were called to reports of a disorder on Old Walsall Road at around 3.50pm yesterday, May 6.

Incident Details

Multiple people were seen fighting with weapons, West Midlands Police said. Six individuals, aged between 16 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. A sword was seized by officers after it was found in bushes. The suspects have all been bailed pending further police enquiries.

Police Statement

A force spokesperson said: "We have arrested six people in connection with violent disorder in Great Barr. We were called to reports of disorder on Old Walsall Road, Great Barr, at around 3.50pm yesterday, where multiple people were seen fighting with weapons. Officers attended, including firearms and PD Aggie, where six people were identified and arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. A sword was also recovered after it was spotted by our drone team in some bushes. The six, aged between 16 and 19, have all been bailed pending further enquiries into the investigation."
