Zeshan Afzal was discovered with severe stab wounds following an altercation that occurred in the car park outside Oldbury Jamia Masjid on Oldbury Road in Smethwick. The incident took place on Friday, February 20, at approximately 9 p.m., shortly after he had attended evening prayers inside the mosque with his father and close friends.
Friends, speaking with the family's blessing, have painted a picture of Zeshan as a beloved son and brother, cherished by a wide network of relatives and friends now grappling with an immense loss.
