On Sunday, April 12, police officers attended a property on Leedham Avenue in Bolehall for unrelated matters. During their visit, they discovered seven motorbikes, with several confirmed as stolen vehicles. This unexpected find led to immediate action by law enforcement.
A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of theft of motor vehicles. He has since been released on conditional police bail pending further investigation. The recovery of these bikes represents a substantial blow to local vehicle theft operations.
Separate Incident Involving Teenage Rider
In an unconnected incident on Tuesday, April 14, officers dealt with a 17-year-old male riding an off-road motorcycle in Wilnecote. The teenager was observed riding on footpaths and grassed areas behind Wilnecote Nature Reserve near Avon Road, posing risks to public safety.
Police seized the off-road motorbike at approximately 8pm during this intervention. Additionally, officers issued two Section 59 warnings and Community Protection Warnings to individuals riding in an anti-social manner. These measures empower police to confiscate vehicles used irresponsibly.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police stated: "In our ongoing efforts to tackle motorcycle-related crime and anti-social behavior, we have seized a further eight bikes in the past week and arrested one male in relation to theft of motor vehicles."
