Teen Arrested After Zombie Knife Seized in Birmingham

A teenage boy has been arrested after a zombie knife was discovered by police officers on patrol in Handsworth, Birmingham. The incident occurred when officers from the West Midlands Police Project Guardian Taskforce responded to reports of a man carrying a knife along the Broadway in Handsworth.

The officers stopped a 17-year-old suspect and, following a search, uncovered a zombie knife. The teenager was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and remains in custody for questioning.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated: "A teenage boy has been arrested after we recovered a zombie knife in Handsworth. We were called to reports of a man walking along the Broadway, Handsworth, while carrying a knife. Officers from our Guardian Taskforce swiftly attended and stopped a man. Following searches, a zombie knife was recovered. The 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article. He remains in custody for questioning."
