Police have launched a public appeal for information following distressing reports of a teenage girl being subjected to repeated harassment while using bus services in the Sandwell area. The incidents are said to have occurred over a concerning four-month timeframe, highlighting ongoing safety issues on public transport.

According to authorities from West Midlands Police, the young victim was targeted on multiple separate occasions between May and July of last year, with a further incident reported in September. Investigators have revealed that their enquiries suggest a man may have been involved, having regularly caught the number 42 bus from Whitehall Road in Tipton at approximately 8.10am on several mornings. A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated: "We want to speak to this man after a teenage girl was harassed on multiple occasions while catching a bus in Sandwell. The incidents are reported to have occurred between May and July and during September last year."
