Stabbing Incident at Popular Bearwood Pub

Police have made three arrests following a serious stabbing at a popular pub in Bearwood, Sandwell. The incident occurred on the evening of Saturday, November 29, at The Abbey pub on Abbey Road.

Emergency services, including multiple police units, were called to the scene at approximately 8:40 pm after reports of a disorder. The street, Thimblemill Road, was later pictured illuminated by the blue lights of the emergency response teams.

Victim's Condition and Swift Arrests

The victim, a man believed to be in his 20s, sustained a stab wound to his leg during the altercation. He was promptly transported to hospital for treatment.

Authorities have since confirmed that his condition is now reported as stable.

In a swift response to the incident, West Midlands Police arrested three men on suspicion of wounding. The suspects, aged 30, 24, and 19, remain in police custody for questioning.

Ongoing Investigation and Appeal for Witnesses

The investigation into the disorder is ongoing, with police continuing their inquiries at the scene. Officers are now urging the public to come forward with any information that could assist them.

West Midlands Police have issued a direct appeal, stating: "We are urging anyone who may have witnessed the disorder or has information relevant to the case to get in touch."
