Three men have appeared in court following a violent incident that culminated in a stabbing at a pub in Bearwood, West Midlands.

Charges Laid Following Abbey Road Disturbance

The trouble erupted at The Abbey pub on Abbey Road on the evening of Saturday, November 29, 2025. Police were called to the scene at around 8.40pm where they discovered a man in his 20s with a leg injury.

The victim was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition. Following an investigation, three individuals have now been charged in connection with the incident.

Defendants Appear Before Magistrates

Ashton Ryatt, aged 19 from Smethwick, along with Zachary Mundon, 24, and Joshua Mundon, 30, both from Oldbury, have each been charged with violent disorder and assault.

The trio were remanded to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court on Monday, December 1. A fourth man, aged 36, has also been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and was in police custody for questioning.

Ongoing Police Investigation

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police confirmed the charges and reiterated that enquiries are continuing. The force has issued a direct appeal to the public for information.
