A woman has been left with serious injuries following a violent late-night assault in Wolverhampton, with police now launching a public appeal for information.
Details of the Violent Assault
The incident occurred on Merridale Road, an area close to the city centre, on the night of Saturday, October 25. The victim, a woman, was attacked at around 11:50pm.
She sustained what police have described as a serious head and neck injury during the assault. Following urgent medical treatment in hospital, the woman is now continuing her recovery at home.
Police Investigation and Witness Appeal
West Midlands Police have confirmed that their investigation is actively underway. Officers have been reviewing available CCTV and doorbell camera footage from the area in an effort to piece together the events of that night.
