YouTube food critic Gary Hanna has declared that a woodland restaurant in Shropshire, just under an hour's drive from Birmingham, serves the best breakfast in the United Kingdom. Hanna, who runs the channel GaryEats with 493,000 subscribers, visited Embers near Shrewsbury and awarded it a perfect 10 out of 10 after sampling three breakfast dishes.

Located in a forest setting outside Shrewsbury, Embers was founded in 2017 by Adam, known online as 'Shropshire Lad'. Adam started by sharing his passion for cooking with fire and local ingredients on his own YouTube channel. In his video review, Hanna said: "Guys I can't recommend this enough. I really can't recommend it enough. As I say, independently owned, it's in the middle of nowhere. I tell you what, on a beautiful summer's day....If you're ever in the area come down. See what I'm talking about. Come in and see what I'm talking about."
He added: "This is easy a 10 out of 10 for me and I'm giving it a 10 star. It's there as one of the best breakfasts... best breakfast I've ever had. And you can't knock the size of the tea either, happy days."
