Annie Sloan Launches Chalk Paint Range at Sobell House Hospice Shop
Annie Sloan Launches Chalk Paint at Sobell House Shop

Renowned paint expert and interior designer Annie Sloan has unveiled a colourful new addition to Sobell House Hospice’s Bicester superstore as part of the charity’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

A New Partnership for a Good Cause

The Oxfordshire-based designer, who is a proud ambassador for the hospice, officially launched the shop as a new stockist of her famous Chalk Paint range during a special visit. The partnership means customers can now pick up unique pre-loved furniture and homeware in-store and transform them with Annie Sloan paint to suit their own style.

Launch Event Highlights

During the launch event in-store, Annie revealed the new stock display and explored the shop for inspiration, highlighting pieces ideal for a creative makeover. Shop team member, Roxy Wilkinson, then repainted a chosen cabinet, lined the shelves with wallpaper and finished it off with new handles to give a country cottage feel.

Annie Sloan's Excitement

Annie Sloan said: “I’m incredibly proud to be an ambassador for Sobell House, especially as it celebrates 50 years at the heart of the Oxfordshire community. The Bicester superstore is full of beautiful, characterful pieces just waiting to be reimagined and with Chalk Paint, you really can transform anything into something that fits your home perfectly. It’s a wonderful way to support the hospice while getting creative.”

Supporting the Hospice's Milestone Year

The launch is part of a wider programme of activity marking the hospice’s milestone year, helping to raise vital funds for its care services. Annie will return to host a special workshop at the Bicester superstore in September, with further details to be announced. One of her expert painters will also lead a session at the hospice’s 50th anniversary celebration at Westgate Oxford on June 13.
