Scott McCristal has once again taken a swipe at his ex-wife Gia Fleur, this time referencing the infamous pink neck pillow that sparked a major argument during Married At First Sight Australia's Home Stays week. The couple, once seen as a power pair, saw their relationship unravel as they visited Scott's Gold Coast apartment.
The Pink Neck Pillow Dispute
Upon arriving at Scott's bachelor pad with harbour views, Gia immediately criticised the cleanliness, saying, "Oh, it's a bit messy. Yeah I couldn't live here." However, the real flashpoint was a pink neck pillow, which Gia assumed belonged to an ex-girlfriend. Scott insisted it was his, bought at the airport due to availability, and questioned her lack of trust. The pillow became a running joke among the MAFS cast.
Scott's Latest Dig
Despite their split and other issues during the experiment, Scott cannot resist making digs about the pillow. On a recent flight with fellow MAFS star David Momoh and 2025 groom Eliot Donovan, Scott wore the pillow, prompting Eliot to joke, "Can you believe it, the guy behind me is wearing a pink neck pillow. Like what the f**k." The trio previously made an Instagram reel captioned "For neck support… obviously #mafs" asking, "Why do you have a pink neck pillow?"
More Than Just a Pillow
Gia's disapproval extended beyond the pillow to Scott's tidiness, wardrobe, and more. An honest conversation with friends led Scott to be truthful with Gia, but things did not improve. Eventually, the couple quit the experiment and each other, unable to communicate without arguing.
